Energy Surveys
For sites and organisations with an energy bill greater than £50,000 per year TEAM’s Energy Consultants can carry out a variety of surveys free of charge to you on behalf of The Carbon Trust.
Our Consultants can offer an independent survey for those organisations not eligible for a Carbon Trust survey or those who require a more detailed audit, which may include water. In addition, all our survey reports include capital cost and payback periods, an analysis of all utility data and a range of pictorial records.
Energy Policy and Strategy
We can work with you to develop and write your energy policy and strategy. This includes the formulation of clear procedures to help deliver an approved energy policy, without compromising operational commitments. We will identify areas for improvement, set SMART targets, introduce a forum to co-ordinate the energy strategy and provide access to resources to secure finance.
Monitoring and Targeting
Our Energy Consultants can introduce a comprehensive energy management system to assist you in measuring your energy consumption. We will analyse your bill processing procedures to help deliver an increased level of control.
Advice may include metering and sub-metering options, selection of communications technology and a review of bill processing procedures.
Feasibility Studies and Project Management
We can provide you with a Project Management service to assist with implementing a range of energy saving measures, including those recommended by your energy survey.
Smart Metering – We can provide a full Smart Metering service, from project planning to installation, meter operation and data collection.
Prior to any capital expenditure we can undertake a feasibility study to help decide which options provide the most cost-effective solution. These can include lighting controls, CHP, boiler replacements and Building Management System (BMS).
Legislation
TEAM’s Flexible Energy Management Services can ensure you meet legislative requirements such as the Energy Performance of Building Regulations and keep you up to date with new legislation and what you need to do to prepare.
Display Energy Certificates

Carbon Footprinting
Calculating the corporate carbon footprint of an organisation can be the first step in a programme to reduce the emissions it causes. TEAM can determine your carbon footprint and calculate carbon performance indicators to take into account changes in business activities and structure. This includes measuring CO2 against various metrics, for example the number of employees, production levels, floor area and financial turnover. Staff Awareness & Training
The Carbon Trust suggests that 5% energy savings may be possible through raising staff awareness. We have packages that can be customised to meet your requirements. These include seminars, workshops, campaigns and arranging web presence to improve staff awareness and develop good housekeeping practices in the workplace.
