Are you looking to reduce energy consumption and cut costs, as well raise the profile of energy efficiency throughout the organisation?

Now with a new look and feel, version 2 of TEAM’s Web Dashboard informs your staff , building users and even members of the public (if required) about how much energy a site or a specific building is using based on the information held in your energy management database. TEAM’s new Web Dashboard can also be easily personalised by the organisation to suit requirements. From the comfort of their desk the energy management team can change the configuration and rearrange the dashboard layout, choose which data is shown and insert photos and messages for staff and building users to see. This means that information presented stays current to ensure on-going interest and engagement with staff and the wider public.

Monitoring any number of buildings, the dashboard can tell staff and building users where and when they use energy (what day, time and even what they were using yesterday in comparison).  By learning more about their own energy consumption, building users become empowered to make a change and think about their personal electricity, gas and water use.

The Sigma software behind the Web Dashboard allows the Energy Management team to create reports and make comparisons in consumption.

What can a Web Dashboard communicate?
 
A Personalised map of the site shows energy consumption in "traffic light" colours to highlight high and low performance by building. Users can be given the opportunity to explore consumption information by drilling down into the data, comparing different periods of time or buildings and even viewing a single site's electricity or gas energy demand.

Energy usage – Displayed as easy-to-read bar charts or on a colour coded dial to visually convey information about energy consumption. Making it clear to the untrained eye where buildings have room for improvement and where they are performing successfully.
 
Energy performance against targets – Displays electricity and gas cost today against yesterday, last week or last year with graphs over a time period to demonstrate progress.
 
Internal energy communications – Messages from the Chief Exec, Leader of the Council or Energy Management team can all be updated and conveyed in seconds. This allows leadership to convey their commitment to sustainability and address environmental issues.

Twitter feed – Provides a real time medium (rather than a stand still poster) for the Energy Team to keep building users updated with activities. This also allows two-way communication for feedback from building users.

 Photo library – Each building has its own photo library where images can be viewed easily by scrolling through. Images of renewable energy installations, energy saving initiatives and new energy saving equipment can be uploaded to share with Web Dashboard users.
