Record attendance at TEAM User Group Conference

This year’s TEAM User Group Conference held in Milton Keynes saw a record attendance of TEAM customers from across the UK.

The event featured the latest release of the TEAM Sigma browser based interface which is intuitive, easy to use and includes exciting new energy analysis tools. New features in the software are designed to automate and streamline the tasks of setting up exceptions and using analysis techniques, saving valuable time for energy managers and making advanced functionality more accessible.

Highlights of the day were presentations from five TEAM customer guest speakers, who shared their experience as energy professionals, followed by interactive discussions.

In his presentation, Gareth Williams from Northern Rail explained how this railway company is reducing energy consumption across its stations and other sites. Ruth Taylor from University of Central Lancashire talked about the implementation of new interactive web dashboards across the university to share energy consumption data with students and staff. Web dashboards enable organisations to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability by including dynamic graphs and tables on their corporate website or intranet ensuring the most up-to-date information is displayed.  They provide an excellent way for Energy and Sustainability Managers to share their success stories of recent projects and plans for new initiatives, raising awareness amongst building users.

Other guest speakers were Vassia Paloumbi of London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Ian Lane of University of London and Ian Buckle of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
