TEAM saves nearly £80,000 on electricity at just one site

A substantial saving of £79,884 has been identified by the TEAM energy management bureau on behalf of London Borough of Ealing.

A substantial saving of £79,884 has been identified by the TEAM energy management bureau on behalf of London Borough of Ealing. During routine checks TEAM’s bureau operators have identified overcharges on electricity bills for the London Borough of Ealing. TEAM has established that one of their 1,200 sites was being billed incorrectly as a half hourly metered site charging a Maximum Demand and not as non-half hourly site for a period of almost two years.

TEAM provides a bill validation and cost recovery service for London Borough of Ealing and since the beginning of the contract in 2007 has recovered over £750,000 from utility providers.
