TEAM Sigma version 5.0

Sigma Version 5 is now available to download at the bottom of this page. Please ensure you read the installation instructions carefully as there are specific requirements regarding Java and MySQL installations.

This download is for TEAM Sigma Version 5 and can be used to update any installation of TEAM Sigma version 4 Service Pack 1 (this includes all database platforms e.g. MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server), Please ensure you are on at least build 4.2.228 before applying this update.

This download is for TEAM Sigma Version 5 and can be used to update any installation of TEAM Sigma version 4 Service Pack 1 (this includes all database platforms e.g. MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server), Please ensure you are on at least build 4.2.228 before applying this update.

CAUTION – FOR MYSQL CUSTOMERS PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE UPGRADED TO MYSQL VERSION 5 BEFORE APPLYING THIS UPGRADE. CONTACT SUPPORT FOR DETAILS.

CAUTION When moving to Version 5 of Sigma existing systems will need to have a database update performed. This process happens automatically when first starting Sigma Version 5, a dialog box will be displayed confirming the database name (and current database build) that will be updated and gives the user a chance to confirm that they have a sound database backup before commencing the update, this is highly recommended.

CAUTION TEAM Sigma version 5 requires the Java 2 Standard EditionTM Runtime Environment (JRE) version 6.0 build 7 or higher (the latest released is currently 1.6.0_19)

Installation Instructions

  1. Download Version 5 using the button below..
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts and the set-up program will automatically determine which TEAM Sigma components need to be installed. If this does not happen automatically please locate the Sigma installation manually.
  3. Next run TEAM Sigma as normal (preferably from the server), the database will need to be updated, this process will begin automatically. Make sure you have an up to date backup of your database before you continue.
  4. Click the Update button to continue and when this has finished the logon screen will be shown as normal.
