TEAM User Group Conference 2009 Over 130 people attended TEAM's 22nd Annual User Group Conference held on 5th November 2009 at the MK Dons Stadium in Milton Keynes.
Once again this annual event gave TEAM customers the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge of our guest speakers and find out about the latest news about TEAM software and services. Attendees were presented with information about current and forthcoming legislation, including Carbon Reduction Commitment and Display Energy Certificates.
Presentations and seminars hosted by TEAM customers gave the audience the opportunity to gain an insight into how these professionals meet the challenges of current legislation and while achieving carbon reductions and cost savings.
A highlight of the day was a series of presentations from TEAM customers, followed by interactive discussions. Main speaker Tony King from Historic Royal Palaces talked about how TEAM have helped him introduce advanced budgeting and accruals techniques to support his financial reporting. Alf Leslie from the Highland Council shared his experiences of Energy Management and the use of renewables in Local Authorities, while Ian Barry from Schneider talked about the Energy Management Programme implemented for DSTL. Ruth Taylor from the University of Central Lancashire gave a presentation about the University's own Carbon Reduction Commitment.
On the the day customers also saw the launch of version 5 of TEAM Sigma software and as always was an ideal opportunity for customers to network, share views and information.
Paul Martin, MD said: "The interest in the TEAM Annual User Group Conference has grown continually and we have had a record attendance this year. We believe it is the customers who attend and present at this event who make it such a success".
