TEAM’s market leading Cloud-based Energy Management software is now available to public sector organisations throughout the UK as part of the Crown Commercial Services’ (CCS) G-Cloud 9 Framework Agreement – Software as a Service (SaaS).
The CCS G-Cloud framework offers a faster and cheaper route for public sector organisations to access suppliers who provide Cloud-based IT services. In summary, it is a more cost effective procurement process for public sector buyers.
The framework can be used by organisations across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations.
TEAM Sigma is a cloud hosted, web-based energy and carbon management software which allows you to manage energy data from any number of energy suppliers, any fuel, across multiple sites. It provides automated utility bill processing, identifying potential areas of waste, exception reporting, target setting and reporting. It utilises the power of IBM’s SoftLayer Cloud Hosting platform, giving you the highest performing cloud infrastructure available.
The CCS acts on behalf of the Crown to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality for commercial and procurement activity. Through the competitive tender and regular benchmarking, CCS ensures customers have access to the most competitive deals. Its goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement service.
NHS SBS is a joint venture between the Department of Health and Sopra Steria offering a wide range of innovative and reliable back office services to more than 40% of the NHS. They help organisations meet the challenge of improving quality and healthcare outcomes while delivering stringent cost saving targets.
TEAM’s Energy Bureau Services can be accessed by NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies throughout the UK as part of the NHS SBS Framework Agreement for Bill Validation and Cost Recovery Services (Contract Reference Number: SBS/12/SG/ZMF/8296/11) without the need to go through a time consuming tendering process.
The TEAM Energy Bureau service available through this framework offers NHS Trusts and other public sector organisations the opportunity to reduce the in-house administration of processing and checking utility bills. The Energy Bureau takes receipt of all bills for single and multiple sites, checking them on arrival. Any anomalies will be investigated and resolved, with utility bills being processed for payment. The TEAM Energy Bureau then reclaims any overcharges on behalf of the Trust, and endeavours to identify savings on upcoming, and if required historical utility bills.
In addition to financial reporting, the data collected can also support Energy Management and other Departments for compliance, consumption and emissions reporting. The analysis of this data can potentially highlight waste or identify areas where energy efficiency improvements can be made.
A list of organisations who are currently accessing the NHS SBS framework can be found on the NHS SBS website. Outside of this any public sector organisation can utilise this agreement on an associate membership basis. The process of joining is as simple as emailing NHS SBS and providing some information. Please contact us for details.
