20th TEAM User Group Conference

TEAM User Group Conference
Special Interest Group - Lincolnshire Police
A record number of well over 100 customers attended TEAM's 20th Annual User Group Conference held on 1st November 2007 at Jurys Inn, Milton Keynes.

The TEAM UGC once again kept TEAM customers and those organisations with a special interest in energy management, abreast with latest news and developments from within the field.

Presentations and seminars were hosted by TEAM customers working in both the private and public sector and gave the audience the opportunity to gain an insight into how these professionals had overcome challenges to achieve large cost savings and carbon emission reductions.

TEAM Customer
Keynote speaker Ken Naylor from the Co-operative Group (CWS) Ltd talked about the challenge of providing actual consumption and billing data to the business and how they are working towards a 25% overall reduction in energy consumption. The Energy Unit from Kirklees Metropolitan Council gave their account of how they managed the change from Brown to Green energy, whilst Chris Hitchens illustrated how Lincolshire Police developed a new Energy Policy and Strategy and are now implementing this.
