IT Engineers

Department: IT Operations

Our IT Engineers provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation and application performance.

The role also includes troubleshooting problem areas both on-time and accurately and providing end-user assistance. There is a need to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with user issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service personal computers authorised access to the network
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve application, network and equipment issues to help minimise downtime
  • Incident management
  • Assist users with technical support
  • Configuration and proactive monitoring of IT Infrastructure
  • Develop technical and specialised knowledge of systems used
  • Provide backup support and assistance to the Network Administrator
  • Assist in the maintenance of servers, networks and associated equipment.

Key skills:

  • Desktop understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, system networking and firewalls as well as Windows server and Active Directory experience
  • Applying expertise and technology, analysing, problem-solving, learning and researching
  • Planning, organising and working to tight deadlines

Data Analysts

Department: Energy Services

The primary purpose of our Data Analysts is to undertake analysis, data collection and support tasks to contribute to Energy Services order delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysis of energy management data to provide insight and reporting delivery
  • The preparation and analysis of data sets for compliance reporting (e.g. GHG, SECR, ESOS, DEC)
  • Verify measurements for site plans to assist assessors
  • Data input into software systems for analysis (e.g. Sigma, ACI)
  • Preparation of Display Energy Certificates and Recommendation Reports for buildings using accredited software. This includes liaising with customers for consultant site visits and all relevant data collection (energy, floor areas, checklists etc.)
  • Conduct quality reviews of Consultancy reports, including proof reading and validation of the calculation.

Energy Consultant

Department: Energy Services

Joining us as an Energy Services Coordinator the role offers the opportunity to progress to an Energy Consultant. Core responsibilities involve coordinating Energy Services order delivery, including the daily operation and supply of the Display Energy Certificate (DEC) service. They also undertake administrative, data collection and analysis tasks to support the Energy Services team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of DEC services including:
    • Monitoring DEC expiry dates and chasing new and recurring orders and obtaining purchase order numbers
    • Assigning CRM orders to the DEC assessors
    • Coordinate the preparation of Display Energy Certificates and Recommendation Reports for buildings using accredited software. Maintain lodged DEC from the Landmark registry
    • Manage the printing and distribution of DECs.
  • Liaise with customers for assessor site visits and all relevant data collection (energy, floor areas, checklists etc).
  • To assist the team in providing a full range of specialist advice on all energy-related management including auditing, reporting, monitoring and targeting and the preparation of performance indicators
  • Obtain competitive quotations for any proposed cost-saving measures identified
  • Invoicing for orders upon completion.
  • Coordinate service delivery for all order types as required
  • Maintaining the business CRM for the department
  • Liaising with Marketing and Sales over new business.

Department: Solution Delivery

Our Project Managers plan, staff, implement, control and evaluate assigned solution delivery projects and activities. Their aim is to achieve quality, velocity and cost objectives and to ensure project outcomes meet our stakeholder needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and activities throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Manage the project scope to ensure that the project or activity includes all the work required to complete the project or activity successfully
  • Manage the timely completion of the project or activity
  • Ensure that the project or activity is completed within an approved budget through planning, estimation, budgeting, financing, management and control of costs
  • Ensure that quality of the outcome of the project or activity
  • Organise, manage and lead the human resources assigned to the project or activity
  • Ensure the timely and appropriate management of artifacts intended to communicate information about the project or activity
  • Conduct appropriate risk management
  • Procure products or services from outside the project or activity
  • Manage stakeholders through the identification of people and organisations impacted by the project or activity. Including analysing stakeholder expectations and their impact on the project or activity and developing appropriate management strategies for engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.

Enable Project Management within Development:

  • Contribute to the definition of Development Policy, Standards and Guidelines, particularly related to all Project Management
  • Develop and maintain Project Management processes and procedures through process improvement initiatives and definition of best practice
  • Define and maintain Project Management artifacts required to ensure product delivery through the development lifecycle
  • Assess the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools to enable Project Management, identifying new tools where appropriate
  • Provide effective communication of Project Management objectives, initiatives and issues.
