With TEAM’s Regional Support Groups 2015 well underway we wanted to give you an insight into some of the feedback we’ve received so far.
Our fifth event is being held at the Doubletree Hilton in London today and is part of a series of 10 Regional Support Groups 2015 which are being held during May and June.
Feedback has been extremely positive so far with customers describing the events as “interesting” and “inspiring”.
Yesterday’s event in Stirling was well attended and one of the questions we didn’t get round to answering included the CRC price per tonne.
Henry Dougherty, TEAM’s Carbon and Energy Consultant says:
“The dashboard of the CRC Module shows the total CRC tonnes for a particular CRC year. It uses the average CRC £/tonne price for that year (e.g. £16/tonne for 2014/15) to give an indicative price.”
He adds:
“As different users choose how to operate their CRC account and whether to purchase the cheaper ‘forecast allowances’ (i.e. in advance, with orders placed in April) or the more expensive ‘buy to comply allowance’ price is £16.40/tonne. Regardless of how you choose to operate your CRC account, the CRC module’s annual report gives the total tonnes for the year and the consumption data to input to the Environment Agency.”
