The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) provides long-term financial support to eligible organisations with solar thermal, biomass boilers, biomass CHP and heat pump installations. Manufacturers, designers or installers are under pressure to correctly specify and install heat meters to ensure high quality data and guarantee RHI payments. Organisations looking to benefit from the RHI have to ensure their heat meters work effectively to protect their renewable heat investment.
This course has been developed to equip attendees with knowledge of heat metering for RHI entitlement using real life case studies. Key learning points on heat metering will be shared with the view to highlight good practices and discuss pitfalls and how best to avoid them. The following topics will be covered:
The full course will conclude with an examination. Those independent consultants making submissions will be able to reference their TEAM credentials with Ofgem to demonstrate that they have a good understanding of both the requirements and practice of RHI and metering requirements.
The course will be held in Milton Keynes.
