TEAM’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Support Service has helped a luxury retirement village obtain RHI tariff payments, which will amount to £500,000 over the next 20 years.
Nestled in 39 acres, only one mile north of Kintbury, near Hungerford, is Audley Inglewood – with 91 luxury retirement properties.
Mesh Energy commissioned TEAM to provide Independent Reports on Metering Arrangements (IRMA) for seven blocks of flats, each of which had Ground Source Heat Pumps installed.
Helder Galrinho, Senior Energy Consultant at TEAM, said:
An independent heat meter report is key to getting RHI approval and can only be carried out by an unbiased and impartial engineer who meets specific criteria which includes demonstrable experience and expertise in heat metering.
Doug Johnson, Founder and Principal Energy Consultant at Mesh, said he was pleased with the work TEAM had provided. He said:
We were responsible for carrying out the full RHI application for the seven heat pumps, which we have now received full RHI accreditation for. We needed some help with the IRMAs and decided to choose TEAM because they had been incredibly responsive in getting back to us with the relevant information and a quote.
The process went smoothly, they knew what they were doing and we would definitely consider working with them again.
TEAM has been at the forefront in developing Heat Metering good practice for the RHI scheme. We are highly qualified to deliver the report needed for a successful application and are providing this service to a wide range of clients.
