This week has seen the start of our annual series of TEAM Regional Support Groups. These are free to attend events hosted by our TEAM Directors, software experts, customer guest speakers and our Customer Account Managers. Packed with all the latest information and updates of our energy and carbon management software and services, so far we have had a warm reception from our customers attending from areas surrounding Durham, Manchester, London and Sheffield.
Full to capacity, the Manchester and Sheffield events were a particularly huge hit with our customers from the North, due to overwhelming interest we had to allocate more space. TEAM are were pleased to have guest speaker Paul Blake, Group Energy Manager at JD Sports Fashion plc at this years Regional Support Groups to host a Sigma user customer case study presentation, which prompted some lively debate about the future of the Energy Managers role, the challenges and priorities from Energy and environment teams across the private and public sector. He discussed bill validation across 651 UK based retail stores and in house cost savings from using TEAM Sigma Software, Paul enthused “We have now got TEAM to assist with our energy management and boy am I glad.”
Our Directors also unveiled new and exciting customer benefits including the launch of our customer portal, to enhance the support we provide our customers. There was great customer interest in the brand new Mobile Application for inputting manual gas and electricity meter reads, which is coming very soon. The App will link with the Sigma Software database to automatically update readings and display consumption trends on the Smart phone it has been installed on.
The days each offered energy efficiency presentations from our Energy Consultants and Support Engineers on subjects including; Getting paid for generating renewable energy – RHI & FiTs; Monitoring and Targeting Techniques as well as the latest TEAM software to enable accurate Greenhouse Gas reporting and Project tracking software to support Measurement and Verification.
