Installations approved for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme receive high subsidy levels valued at potentially tens of thousands of pounds a year over twenty years. TEAM’s IRMA Service is here to help those with their RHI scheme submissions.
Applicants to the scheme must provide an Independent Report on Heat Metering Arrangements (IRMA) in all cases except ‘standard’ metering installations.
An independent report on metering arrangements can have the additional benefit of avoiding the cost of installing unnecessary heat meters. Getting your IRMA right the first time will reduce the possibility of time delays on gaining additional information or the rejection of the application.
TEAM has been at the forefront in developing Heat Metering good practice for the RHI scheme. We are highly qualified to deliver the report needed for a successful application and are providing this service to a wide range of clients.
An RHI application was submitted to Ofgem for TEAM customer and twice microlight world champion, Richard Meredith-Hardy of FlyMicro, who has installed a biomass boiler supplying heat to 3 buildings – 2 houses and a workshop.
Richard wrote to us:
“You’ll be pleased to know that the other day Ofgem rang me to congratulate me on making a model application for RHI accreditation, ‘we can find nothing wrong with it’ she said. I suspect no small part of that was the fine IRMA you provided, so thank you. All in all a big difference to one of my neighbours with a similar setup to mine who just received accreditation after 21 months from a different IRMA provider…”
