Accomplished Service Delivery Manager joins TEAM’s Energy Bureau

We continue to grow our Energy Bureau department, with former Opus Energy Accounts Manager, Ross Whalen, joining the business.

Ross’ appointment as Service Delivery Manager is part of ambitions to extend our Bureau service, and develop the solutions we offer to meet the challenges of energy and carbon reduction management.

Having worked in the energy utilities industry for over 7 years’, Ross brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Experienced in managing a portfolio of customers with high energy and multiple sites within the retail and property management sectors, Ross understands the importance of being the first point of contact for customers.

Having previously held the role of a Corporate Account Manager, Ross can analyse and understand energy data for organisations and ensure that their accounts are managed correctly. His achievements include reducing aged debt on customer accounts by £500,000 over 10 months and he has supported customers at over 300 sites on their account set up.

On joining TEAM, Ross said:

I am delighted to be joining TEAM at such an exciting time in the business’s history. I am passionate about supporting organisations in understanding their energy data. With many years’ experience in managing customer accounts, I am looking forward to helping support TEAM’s customers in my new role.

Ross’ role will require him to work closely with customers as their principle contact in the business. He will be responsible for coordinating the management of customer’s energy portfolios and providing insights about their energy consumption, cost, trends and potential savings acting as an outsourced energy manager. These insights and support from an in-house expert help organisations understand their consumption, and related emissions so they can meet their net zero and carbon reduction targets and ensure energy efficiency throughout their energy estate.

On Ross’ appointment to the business, Rob Webb, Bureau Operations Manager at TEAM said:

As our Bureau team continues to grow and we provide more customers with complete end-to-end energy management, we are delighted to see our team growing as well. We are committed to helping customers wherever they are on their energy management and net zero journey, and we are investing in resource across the business to do so.

Ross joins us with a wealth of experience in supporting customers in understanding their bill validation and estate management, and I have no doubt that he will make a great addition to our growing team.
