What is UK Sustainability Reporting Standards and how will it impact UK businesses?

The UK Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) is a new compliance reporting scheme based on The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS S1/S2.

The aim of the standard is to replace the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) scheme, with it set to come into place for many UK organisations from 2026.

If your organisation is required to comply with SECR, these new standards will require more in depth reporting, including reporting on your Scope 3 emissions.
