Environment Management analyst, Sophie Legg, has joined our Energy Services to support customers with their energy and carbon management.
Sophie’s appointment as Energy Services Analyst is a great addition to the business as we continue to work in partnership with organisations to transform and harness best practice to optimise their operations and become resilient to the impacts of climate change.
With a Master of Science degree in Corporate Environmental Management, Sophie is passionate about the planet and helping businesses ensure they understand their energy and carbon data, supporting them in driving carbon reduction initiatives and monitoring their consumption in line with their net zero targets.
As an analyst, Sophie will be working closely with our Energy Consultants to deliver a range of Energy Services, including Greenhouse Gas Reporting (GHG), Net Zero and Carbon Reduction services, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR), Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS).
On joining the business, Sophie Legg said:
I am delighted to be joining TEAM at such an exciting time as they continue to expand their Energy Services. Becoming part of a Carbon Neutral, Employee-Owned business that puts people and the planet first is a great step in my career and I look forward to working with customers on their Net Zero strategies.
Commenting on Sophie’s appointment, Timothy Holman, Head of Operations said:
With the UK Government’s recent launch of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, focus is rightly back on Net Zero and it is more important than ever that businesses start to take steps to reducing their carbon emissions. Sophie will play an integral role in reviewing customers’ energy data and providing insights into ways they can embrace energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
As an employee-owned enterprise, this continued growth is aligned with our commitments to meet our own net zero ambitions. With employees driving the long-term success of the business, recruiting like-minded individuals such as Sophie who are just as passionate about tackling climate change, will play a key role in our future.
