Net zero explained, dispelling myths for a green future
In recent years, the term “net zero” has become a buzzword in discussions about climate change and sustainability. Governments, corporations, and individuals alike are setting ambitious targets to achieve net zero emissions.
However, there are several myths and misconceptions surrounding this concept. We have asked some of our Energy Consultants to debunk the most common myths and shed light on the reality of achieving net zero.

How a carbon reduction plan can make your organisation procurement ready
As organisations transition to carbon neutrality and net zero, the expectations for their suppliers to follow suit is increasing. For suppliers to the public sector, this is no longer an expectation but a requirement.
Under the PPN 06/21, suppliers must have a formal plan to reduce their business emissions if they want to provide goods or services to the public sector, including the NHS.
Natalia Block, Analytics Consultant here at TEAM, explains the importance of a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) and how it can support a business’ approach to procurement.
From data quality to cost savings: Why outsourcing utility management makes business sense
Utilities can often make up a significant portion of an organisation’s budget. When factoring in operational overheads, stretched resources, and rising bills, these costs can quickly escalate.
As an energy management consultancy and utility management software provider, we have seen a growing number of organisations choosing to outsource their utilities management. Rob Webb, our Bureau Operations Manager, looks at the limitless opportunities to enhance data quality, reduce costs, and future-proof energy management.

The importance and benefits of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rates how energy efficient a commercial building’s construction is on a scale of A to G (A being the most efficient). The certificate is accompanied by a Recommendation Report, which provides suggestions for improving the efficiency of the commercial building.
Calculate your Carbon Footprint
Our carbon footprint calculator is designed to estimate an organisation’s carbon emissions and provides key results, including estimated annual emissions for scope 1 and 2, estimated annual emissions for all scopes and the emissions reduction needed each year to achieve net zero by 2050.

Understanding the latest trends in Wholesale Energy Prices
Staying informed about the latest trends in wholesale electricity and gas prices is crucial for organisations looking to optimise their energy procurement and energy risk management.
Several factors influence the UK wholesale electricity price including the intermittent nature of renewable energy, fuel costs, geopolitical events, weather conditions and supply and demand.
Clean energy’s share of world’s electricity reaches 40%, report says
